ERSILIA

ERSILIA is a collaborative online platform for film and photography education published by LE BAL. This independent platform created by Raymond Depardon and Diane Dufour is dedicated to the contemporary image in all its forms: photography, video, cinema and new media.

“How are images produced, distributed and received? How do images change the way we see the world?” Designed for educational use, ERSILIA encourages students to tackle these questions through their own critical analysis of curated images.

Photographs, videos, paintings, drawings, advertisements, media, works of art... ERSILIA helps students analyze images in all their forms. Discover teaching methods, fun tools and creative exercises to (re)learn how to look at images.
